Decided I need some business cards for the senior show and went with my bandana lady to tie it in with my thesis. Painting is digital, print is made with ink then assembled digitally.
Continuing my thesis of patterns for each season only this time I painted a model to show off the prints. She was just a test, there are some issues and I would like to incorporate more of an environment and experiment with different poses :)
I think I am on to something with these seasonal fashion designs/ print designs. Out of all the projects I have done I think I enjoy doing these the most. Potential senior thesis? I think so!
This was an open project where I decided to illustrate a song by Kimbra called "Wandering Limbs". They lyrics of the song are quite dark but it is sung as a duet in a romantic dreamy fashion which made this very interesting to illustrate.
First 2 paintings are from the downtown landscape assignment we had to do, other 2 are still life paintings we were assigned, I did other landscapes and stills too, these are just the ones I had on me to take photos.
WHELP this is my finalized packaging design for chai tea. It features a big box thing with 16 tea bags in it and I also created a package for individual bags. I did actually make my own tea bags for this project as well. You can't really see it in the picture but the tea bags I made were the hexagonal shape just like the top&bottom of the box.
I did this portrait of Seth Fyffe in acrylic first then went over it all in oil. I really enjoyed doing this piece, I have come to realize that oil portraits are super fun!
The assignment was to create an animal disguising as another animal for a purpose.
I chose to do a fruit bat blending in with the emperor moths to make some nocturnal friends.
